Prose | Regret

By Thomas Schaal

November 1, 2018

It’s 10:32 on a Thursday night and here you sit pondering what you could’ve done better. Maybe you could've learned a language or read a new book. Maybe you could’ve saved a life or spared another. You had an entire universe full of art to create and people to connect to.

But you didn’t.

Now you see the same old faces that you’ve been looking at for the past month. Now you start to think it might be time to change scenery again. Now you sit with another bottle of depression in your lap and once again think, what could I have done better.
