Poetry | Hopelessly in Love

By Justice Westmoreland

March 09, 2019

Kiss me slowly.

Sway to the rhythm of the ocean waves crashing against the shore.

Hold me close as the wind whispers symphonies in our ears.

Let your soul rest in my arms as we lose ourselves in the moment.

Kiss me slowly.

Wrap your arms around my waist as my fingertips trace your jawline.

Let the passion run through your veins as your heartbeat quickens.

Press your body against mine as our thoughts wander into the night.

Kiss me slowly.

My heart thumped violently in my chest as your eyes met mine,

pounding wildly as your lips brushed against mine,

begging for reassurance that your heart craved me too.

Kiss me slowly.
