Poem | Brain Dead

Oh, sh*t! My brain is dead,

empty thoughts inside my head

rattle round and tumble out,

a constant stream of hateful doubt.

I wonder where it all began

and why I act like such a ham

hiding pain deep within;

a quest for healing must begin.

It starts with Jesus Christ in me

and His sacrifice upon the tree.
